Check if you can get the free NHS MenB vaccine
You may be eligible if you’re a student or young adult in one of the NHS MenB catch-up groups. Our pharmacist will check your details before vaccination.
You can usually have the free MenB vaccine if you are aged 19 or under, or if you are a student aged 25 or under who is starting or attending university. Eligibility can depend on your age, study status, and whether you have already had a dose.
If you had one dose privately, bring your vaccination record so we can confirm what you need next. We review your history, explain what is recommended, and answer questions before you decide.
Free NHS service
MenB vaccination is available as a free NHS service for eligible students, with no private prescription required.
Quick eligibility check
Your pharmacist confirms your eligibility and reviews your health history to make sure vaccination is suitable for you.
Two-dose course
You’ll receive dose 1 at your first visit, then dose 2 at least 28 days later for full course completion.
What to bring
Bring your UCAS or offer email, student ID, or vaccination record so we can complete checks and update your documentation.
